Winter Time
It is difficult to play golf in the Colorado area during the winter. There are a few days here and there that you can get out, but for the most part, there is no golf. I know quite a few people who go to indoor facilities to practice. In my opinion, indoor facilities don’t really help that much. There isn’t that much about indoor that replicates reality. I think the best thing that a golfer can do in the winter is to exercise and workout.
I’m not talking about a run-of-the-mill exercise program, but a golf focused workout routine. There have been several fitness instructors that have recently focused on golf fitness. These instructors have developed plans to work your body to become more effective on the course.
You don’t have to pay a ton of money for personal training to get golf fit. Do a little research online and you will find a ton of information about good golf fitness and you can develop your own workout to get into golf shape.
I think this is a much better use of your time during the winter and I think you will see better dividends than if you went to a crummy indoor practice facility.
