Tiger Woods Is Amazing

Love him or hate him; Tiger Woods is flat out amazing at his profession. No matter what he does the rest of the year, he will be the PGA Tour Player of the year, yet he will probably look back at 2009 as a disappointing year. He has won 5 tournaments this year and will probably go on to win the FedEx Cup but he probably won’t win a major this year and that is the measuring stick for Tiger Woods.

He was three strokes down going into the final round at this year’s Bridgestone Invitational and what does he do? He goes four under the first five holes! He had a little lady luck on his side too when Paddy tripled the 16th, but Tiger put himself in a position to win. This is what makes him such an amazing professional golfer. Has any other player ever put themselves in a position to win more than Tiger Woods? The other thing about Tiger Woods that amazes me is that if he’s 4-7 strokes back, he still in it. For most players, being two back is in the hunt.

I understand that there are some people out there that don’t like him because of his attitude. He does seem to be a cry baby….but an amazing cry baby!
