Tiger Woods’ Apology: Sincere?

Tiger Woods, the number one athlete in the world, apologized yesterday. Or did he? He addressed his family, his friends, his friends, and all of those family whose children looked at him as a “role model.” He apologized to each category, but I think that even the children who looked up to him could tell he was not very sincere. Woods continued to stare into the camera saying “I am so sorry.” He claimed that he believed he was “entitled” to the behaviors that he acted upon. So, was his apology accepted by many? Possibly, however if I were personally effected I know I would not accept it. It looked as if he was reading a speech that an agent wrote for him, one that he had maybe read over once or twice before presenting it. It seemed as if the paper he was reading off of told him when and where to look. In my opinion it was a scripted apology that did not come from the heart.
