Are you new to the Denver area? Do you just want to experience a course that you have never played before? Here are some of the top rated public golf courses in Colorado. You will be sure to find one in your area!

Arrowhead Golf Club      Arrowhead Golf Club is built around beautiful outcrops of tall, red rocks. In addition, Arrowhead has holes with spectacular views or downtown and the front range! Arrowhead is located in Littleton, just south of Wadsworth and C-470.



The Golf Club at Bear Dance      Since its opening in 2002, Bear Dance has been ranked as one of the best public courses in Colorado. Bear Dance challenges the golfer in all aspects of the game. Tree-lined fairways and the abundance of sand traps are the challenges before reaching the difficult greens! Bear Dance is located in Larkspur, with very little residential areas surrounding.



The Broadmoor Golf Club
     The Broadmoor is located in Colorado Springs. Three courses are entrenched in the Rocky Mountians, providing elevation changes, doglegs and many challenging features. Be sure to stay at the Five-Star Hotel following your round so that you can play one of the other courses the next day!


Fossil Trace Golf Club      Located in Golden, this course tends to be built around fun! Fossil Trace has natural hazards (large rocks and cliffs) that can challenge every golfer. They also have manmade hazards (a chimney and old mining equipment) strewn across the course. This course is one of the most popular for taking out guests!



Green Valley Ranch Golf Club      Green Valley Ranch golf course is another challenging course, featuring a 640 yard 18th hole. Located near DIA, the challenges may be strengthened by Mother Nature. Be sure to have your wind gear and wind game in your bag for backup!



The Raven Golf Club       The Raven is one of the most popular courses located in the mountains! It is surrounded by beautiful views of the mountainous region and challenges the golfer to make decisions with elevated tees! This course has remained one of the best public golf courses for many years! The Raven is located in Silverthorne.


Redlands Mesa      Redlands Mesa weaves around canyons and plateaus while challenging with rocks, water and large sandtraps. Though it may look like a flat course, do not be misled about the difficulty of each hole! Experience the course that has very similar characteristics of Arizona golf courses. Redlands Mesa is located in Grand Junction for all those on the western side of the Rocky Mountains!


The Ridge at Castle Pines North
    Much like Arrowhead, the Ridge offers breathtaking views of all areas of Colorado and the front range. One hole 7, you visible landmarks include DIA, Buckley Air Force Base and the Denver Tech Center. On Hole 9, the elevated tee box looks out onto the Rocky Mountains, including views of Pikes Peak and Devil’s Head. Be sure to play your tee shot on 18 from off the top of the rock! This Troon Golf Course makes service a priority. The Ridge is located in Castle Pines, just two miles west of I-25.


River Dale Dunes
      River Dale Dunes Golf Course provides a challenge for every golfer with rolling hills and enormous lakes! Before going out on the course, be sure to check yardages of each club, and straighten out that swing! River Dale Dunes is located in Brighton.
