In Denver, its tough to play during the winter. While courses are open almost year round, they either have snow on the ground or its just flat out too cold to play. Getting in shape is a good this to work on, but getting in golf shape is even better! It seems that every year, there is a focus on sport specific fitness. Golf is no exception. I read a lot of blogs and surf the net quite a bit looking for golf related news and interests. I recently started to pay more attention to golf fitness and came across three sites that I think are of particular value:

  • www.mytpi.com | This is the site of the Titleist Performance Institute. The site is dedicated to improving your fitness, posture, coordination etc for optimal performance on the course
  • www.seancochran.com | This site is home to Sean Cochran who trained Phil Mickelson.
  • www.championshipgolffitness.com | CGF is based in Denver and offers a few different programs for you to take advantage of.

If you are looking to improve your game and take it to the next level, a golf-specific fitness regiment should be part of your routine.
